Mutter Paneer
A scrumptious mix of delicate paneer and solid green peas in a gentle yet spicy tomato-based sauce, is a treat to taste buds anytime. Its north Indian dish, spiced with garam masala and another dry masala powders its often served with roti, chapati, pulka and also rice. Its predominantly made in northern states like Punjab, UP, Rajasthan where roti is a stable diet. Paneer is packed with proteins and so does the green peas, which is nice combination for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 250 gms Fresh Paneer
- 150 gms Fresh/Frozen Peas
- 1 ½ Tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 2 to 3 tsp Kaju Paste
- 2 ½ tsp of Raw peanut powder
- 2 tsp Kasuri Methi
For Masala Paste
- 2 nos Onions Diced into large Cubes
- 3 nos Tomatoes Diced into large Cubes
- 2 nos Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Jeera
- 1 ½ Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- Salt to Taste
- Oil of frying
Instructions
Method
To make the gravy:

Take all the ingredients under the heading For Masala Paste and shallow fry them in Kadai/pan and keep it aside to cool for a couple of minutes.

After its cool grind the above items in a grinder to smooth paste, fry the paste in two tsp of oil and now add the dry masala powders and cook it for some time.

Now add the raw peanut powder and further cook it for 5 to 6 minutes, if required add some water at this stage and cook it.

Now add Kaju Paste and gently stir in for couple of minutes. And sprinkle the crushed Kasuri Methi, add salt and adjust it as per your taste.

Serve it with roti, chapati, pulka and also rice.
