A mouth-watering dish as the name is mentioned right ……the pizza is bursting with cheese, not good for health but very good and tasty for children. I made it yesterday a women day celebration for my wife and daughter, they loved it. With the advent of Pizza, a fast food it has changed the land scape of the food industry. It has touched the hearts of young kids to grown-ups. I remember in college days would look for an occasion to go and have pizza. Let’s see how to make this pizza is made….!

Ingredients

For the Pizza Dough:

  • 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 tsp Semolina
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp: Salt
  • 1 tbsp: Oil
  • 10 gm: Instant Dry Yeast sachet
  • Luke warm water to make the dough

For Topping:

  • 1 Capsicum
  • ½ Onion Thinly Sliced
  • 2 to 3 Baby Corns
  • 3 tbsp: Pizza Sauce
  • ½ cup: Mozzarella Cheese grated
  • 3 to 4 Cheese Slices for Layering

Instructions

Method:

  1. Take all the materials mentioned for the dough in large bowl and mix them thoroughly. Now add the Luke warm water and knead the dough slowly, and get it till it soft and doughy and close the bowl with cling film and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. In the meanwhile, get the vegetable topping ready and the cheese grated.
  3. Now the dough would have risen, beat it very gently and again the knead the dough, and make it two parts (i.e. one into a small sized ball enough to make a chapati).
  4. Roll the small ball into flat chapati type, poke with fork all sides and heat over a pan and bake it half way. And keep it aside.
  5. Take pizza base/plate and then with remaining dough make a base for the pizza, put the cheese slices on it and then lay the half-baked dough which we have prepared earlier, and closed the ends of the pizza with the down layer covering the whole pizza base.
  6. And layer the pizza sauce on it now and sprinkle the grated cheese and keep the vegetables mentioned in the toppings.
  7. Bake it for 20 minutes or till the crust is crisp and brown. Take the pizza out and cut into equals size sprinkle with chilli flakes and oregano and enjoy with a drink.

Recipe Notes

Note:

  • Have used Bluebird Instant Dry Yeast...for this pizza, new yeast very easy to use.
  • The beauty of the yeast is you don’t need to prepare the yeast in advance.
  • This can be added with the ingredients straight away.
