Vidyarthi Bhavan was founded in 1943 as a little shack for students has grown into a very popular hotel/joint for the people of Bangalore. Its been a very popular joint since then for dosas, idli and medu vada. We had visited this place in the month of September 2017 in afternoon section we driving from kormangala to nandini layout so decided to stop for a quick snack. First we struggled to get an parking slot, we finally found it near the bull temple back gate.
Then we walked all the way to the hotel which we were trying to figure it out through google maps. But all this was worthwhile, we were among the first to occupy the seats as we were just come when they were opening. Even though they had pretty good no of people waiting.
The rates are all reasonable. We took Masala Dosa, Medu vada, and filter coffee to end with. All were amazing and the unique way of serving is always trade mark style and worth a watch.
Is know for its masala dosa, kesari bath, medu vada.
