1noBroccoli FlowerSteamed and Drained

Instructions
How to Make Garlic & Broccoli Lo Mein…..?
Noodles: Cook the noodles as per instructions on package and drain them and keep it aside. (Put ½ tsp sesame oil and toss them properly to avoid the noodles from sticking together)
Dice Broccoli into small florets and steam them till Al Dante (i.e. a bit under cooked)
Drain tofu and cut it into small cubes and keep it aside.
Sauce: Mix Soy Sauce, Chilli Flakes, Crushed Pepper, Hoisin Sauce (Optional), Garlic Powder and mix them thoroughly and keep it aside.
Preparation:
Heat oil in pan add tofu and stir fry for couple of seconds and keep it aside.
Now add steamed broccoli and stir fry them for a couple of seconds, till they get crisper in the oil for a minute or so.
Now add the cooked noodles and toss them for a minute or so. Now finally the prepared sauce and toss the noodles so they are fully coated with the sauce.
At the end add some salt as per taste and toss them and taste and adjust as required.
Recipe Notes
Hoisin Sauceis Optional, one can use sesame oil instead also (have used neither of them, traditionally it is used).
One can use their choice of vegetables like bell pepper, mushroom and also can add spring onions (white and the green portion can both be used).
Have used normal salt, instead one can use ajinomto(Chinese salt) (Note: please be advised not suitable for kids and pregnant women, please use it with discretion).
