Aloo matar is a simple but delicious Punjabi authentic dish, made from aloo and fresh peas with gravy, which is widely served with roti and rice. It is a traditional curry where aloo and matar are combined together, with onion and tomatoes gravy.

How to Make Aloo Mutter…?
Make paste of the onion and blanched tomatoes, meanwhile take a deep bottomed pan and heat 2 tbsp oil and put the whole garam masala and fry it for some time.
Then add the onion and tomato paste and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes, then add the dry masala powders and add 3 to 4 tsp of water and cook it for around 4 minutes on medium flame.
Add the fresh peas and cook further at this stage add the potatoes which are, pre-boiled and diced into the gravy and cook further for 4 to 5 minutes.
Serve with Roti/Chapati/Pulka/Rice of your choice.
