There are many ways to make this tea depending on what we use for the infusion. Below is one of the possible way.

Bring water to boil ( determine quantity as per the number of cups you plan)

The ratio of leaves – fresh or dried should be ¼ cup of leaves to 1 cup of hot water

Pour hot water on the leaves/powder. ( optional to add orange peel, fennel seed etc only if you like the taste/flavoring) Let it sit for 5 minutes

Strain the liquid. You can also refrigerate is for future use upon cooling down.

Add sugar, honey to sweeten it - to remove the bitter taste

add lemon juice – again optional.

Using powder:

For powdered form – use one tsp to one cup of water

Cover it and then refrigerate it – for a day.

The powder will accumulate in the bottom – remove the water from the top – the water is now your tea.

Add sugar, honey or any other sweetener to remove the bitter taste

Can add lemon too.
