Ingredients

  • 1 Packet Flat Noodles Cooked and Drained
  • 1 no Broccoli Flower Steamed and Drained
  • 1 no Carrot Peeled & Grated
  • 6 to 7 nos Garlic Pods
  • 200 Gms Tofu Hard
  • 2 tbsp Chilli Flakes
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Hoisin Sauce Optional
  • ½ Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 ½ Tsp Pepper Crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for Stir Fry
  • ½ tsp of Sesame Oil

Instructions

How to Make Garlic & Broccoli Lo Mein…..?

  1. Noodles: Cook the noodles as per instructions on package and drain them and keep it aside. (Put ½ tsp sesame oil and toss them properly to avoid the noodles from sticking together)
  2. Dice Broccoli into small florets and steam them till Al Dante (i.e. a bit under cooked)
  3. Drain tofu and cut it into small cubes and keep it aside.
  4. Sauce: Mix Soy Sauce, Chilli Flakes, Crushed Pepper, Hoisin Sauce (Optional), Garlic Powder and mix them thoroughly and keep it aside.

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in pan add tofu and stir fry for couple of seconds and keep it aside.
  2. Now add steamed broccoli and stir fry them for a couple of seconds, till they get crisper in the oil for a minute or so.
  3. Now add the cooked noodles and toss them for a minute or so. Now finally the prepared sauce and toss the noodles so they are fully coated with the sauce.
  4. At the end add some salt as per taste and toss them and taste and adjust as required.
