Boil Pasta as per the package instructions (El Dente) and set aside to cool, please save some water when draining the pasta.
In grinder take the blanched and skinned almonds, basil and garlic pod and cheese and grind to smooth paste and keep it aside.
Now in the meantime take deep pan and heat olive oil and put the diced cherry tomatoes and cook for a minute or two.
Now add the diced mushrooms and cook for some time and add the other spices i.e. chilli flakes, oregano, nutmeg and salt to taste.
Now add the ground pesto and give it a thorough mix at this stage add the drained pasta, the reserved pasta water and cook for some time till you get desired gravy consistency.
