  • 250 Gms Moong Dal
  • 400 Gms Sugar
  • 1 pinch Elachi Powder
  • 150 Gms Ghee
  • 50 Gms Chopped Cashews


How to Make Moong Dal Laddu ?

  1. Heat a Skillet and dry roast the Mongdal and powder sugar and the dal after they cool down a bit.
  2. Mix both sugar and moong dal powder and Elachi and keep it aside.
  3. Heat the ghee and drop the chopped cashew nuts and roast them till they are tad brown. Add the roasted cashews to the mixed moong dal powder and mix it thoroughly.
  4. When the powder is warm, roll them into small balls / laddus to be served later or whenever required.

Recipe Notes


When rolling the powder into laddus if found problem with bonding one can add one or two tsp of ghee to roll into a laddu.

These laddus can be stored and had latter, it can be stored for at least 20 to 30 days.
