Maggi Cutlet | Maggi ke Cutlet
Cutlet is a very simple dish and delicious dish, which is normally made out of potato and vegetable, here in Maggi cutlet we have tried to give a twist with potato, sweet potato, and maggi noodles. Normally potato is used as a base for binding, here we have added sweet potato to make it a healthier version of cutlet and helpful for people who have diet restrictions such as for diabetic people.
Normally these cutlets are crumb coated i.e., bread crumbs which give that even texture outside, we used the normally available bread crumbs in the market, but if you can get hold of panko breadcrumbs, the outcome would be fabulous. Whenever we used to go to a movie in our childhood days, during the break we used buy cutlet/samosa and popcorn for snacks, we used to enjoy the cutlet !
Some do add vegetables like spinach, peas soya granules, broccoli, carrot …… sky is the limit here …..it’s really up to you what you want as stuffing. I have tried to keep it simple as possible.
When we coat the patties with breadcrumbs and pan-fry it and had with ketchup or even as patties for a burger it’s extremely tasty because of its crispy texture outside and all mixture of spices which brings out the taste of the cutlet to the next level. Try preparing it and sure that it will win many hearts and tongues as well ……………… no doubt 😊

Recipe Notes
- One could add bread crumbs or powdered poha along with the patties mixture, it helps to absorb the moisture/water content and easy to make the patties.
- For best results use panko breadcrumbs, here since it was not available have used normal bread crumbs of the bakery we get.
- You can use veggies of your choice while making the patties mixture, but try to avoid onions as they tend to release water into the mixture making it difficult to make patties.
Serve Maggi cutlets with tomato ketchup or with herbed mayonnaise and also you enjoy with a cup of coffee/tea as an evening snack.
