Mango Jackfruit Smoothie
The combination of Mango and Jackfruit as “Mango and Jackfruit Smoothie” is fascinating as both fruits are very different and taste also very different. Mango is very sweet and juicy and Jackfruit is also sweet but has hard flesh. This recipe of Mango and Jackfruit Smoothie is dairy free/vegan.
Unripe Jackfruit is used to make delicious curries and these curries are very tasty to eat. Ripe Jackfruit is very tasty and in this recipe of Mango and Jackfruit Smoothie, have used ripe Jackfruit. Ripe Jackfruit has unique flavour to itself. Like apple, banana and mango and various other fruits Jackfruit stand apart from many other fruits in taste and look also. Cutting Jackfruit is not easy task, it requires a lot of patience and time for one to cut and reach the edible pods of jackfruit. Will explain it in another post. Jackfruit is very useful fruit as the unripe jackfruit can used for making curry even the seeds of ripe jackfruit can be used for making curry, which is also very tasty to eat.
Mango is the King of all fruits and a tropical fruit; it’s called king of fruits because of the unimaginable flavour and taste it gives to any person eating it. Mango is great as a fruit which has loads of natural sugar which helps one to avoid junk sugar which is very harmful. Mangoes are full of Vitamin A (19%) and C (79%), that’s good portion of the fruit is filled with Vitamins. It’s very popular in India and has been grown in India from time immemorial. We can see its reference in some of the poems and plays of the famous poet Kalidasa (approx. First Century BC).
Combination of both the fruits, which are very different in nature and texture gives rise to a very unique in taste and texture. So, to add to that have kept the Mango Jackfruit Smoothie dairy free so enhances its nutritional level, here we are adding soy milk.
Mango Jackfruit Smoothie
This recipe of Mango and Jackfruit Smoothie is dairy free/vegan.
- 2 1/2 Cups Mango Diced into Cubes
- 1 Cup Jackfruit Deseeded
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Milk
- 1/4 Cup Sugar Can be skiped
- 1 Pinch Cardamon Powder
- 1 Pinch Salt
Take all the ingredients expect for soy milk in blender and blend it to smooth consistency.
You get a thick and smooth smoothie.

Also, you can check for the required sweetness and more sugar if required. As we have
added mango the sweetness would be balanced, just in case on requires.
Refrigerate it for an hour or so and serve it chill.
- One can substitute regular milk with soy milk in this recipe.
- Have used white sugar, it can be substituted with brown sugar also.
